Sun (Detriment) Semisquare Venus

As Venus is never more than 48 degrees from the Sun, the "combust" and semi-square are the only adverse aspects Venus can from to Sol. Neither is a very important aspect of itself, but at times may make the native extravagant, overfond of pleasure and luxury, amorous and mutable in the affections. Some delay or misfortune in love affairs and in dealing with the opposite sex. Loss through speculation extravagance, or carelessness.

It is the sign of the bulldozer who will run over anyone is sight to meet an objective, but who is often successful because of this drive and determination. Generally unorthodox, the native neither seeks nor accepts advice from others, and is happiest when being the boss in all relationships. This is the IMMOVABLE ASPECT, and the natives usually are the most self-willed and controlling persons in the zodiac. The upside is that they are very often genuinely faithful, are good providers, and are responsible to their family. (Note this aspect is the same as Sun/Saturn but more emotionally charged.)

Mercury Semisquare Uranus

Difficulties through changefulness, unexplainable psychic conditions, lack of cautious self-control and the liability to be led by the impulses, sensations, appetites, emotions, sympathy, and by the ideas, thoughts and advice of others, resulting in nervous, restless excitability, which exhausts the vital processes. Then native should benefit through study of dietetics.

Uranus Opposition Neptune

This is not a very serious aspect; it gives the same quick, keen intuition and faculty for the curious, with attraction for and desire to investigate the mysterious and things occult, but indicates obstacles, difficulties and danger in following extremes in the foregoing. The person is subject to psychic conditions, consciously or unconsciously, therefore, my be influenced by surroundings and environment to his detriment. Sun (Detriment) Parallel Chiron

This is one of the most powerful aspects that is not a Super Aspect. It helps the native to be noteworthy and or charismatic. If the native also has a Super Aspect formed by Chiron, then he or she can have a hypnotic or mesmerizing influence on most of us. This is also a female Romance Aspect where the native (person born with the aspect), if female, has an unusually intense desire for marriage and children. Such women often marry and have children when they are very young.

Mercury Contra-Parallel Jupiter (Detriment)

Obstacles and difficulties arise regarding matters ruled by the houses they occupy, Mercury more particularly, through unfinished education or accomplishments. It shows liability to deceit or poor judgment leading to changes, journeys, unreliable ideas, wily thoughts, dissension, disagreements and sometimes legal troubles. Misfortune and difficulty through investments, speculation, contracts, agreements (especially verbal), writings, church affiliations, social affairs, foreign and financial matters. Liable to suffer from scandal, slander or false reports, and accidents in travel. The mind is active, keen, alert and impressionable, but not sufficiently steady or confident. Unfavorable changes, travels, and letters. It tends to weakness in the parts of the body ruled by the signs occupied by Mercury and Jupiter.

Mercury Contra-Parallel Saturn (Detriment)

The subject has great ambitions and desires for activity, success and mastery in lines coming under the Third, Sixth and Tenth House affairs, but his efforts are attended with delay, disappointments, obstacles and limitation, and in some cases he meets with criticism and opposition, open or secret, and his efforts are frequently thwarted and hindered or his plans overthrown. Encounters difficulty in acquiring an education and in all matters pertaining to books and studies. The retentive or memorizing faculty needs developing even though memory of events is strong. The aspect signifies great sorrow through death of brethren for father, probably both, or their ill health, separation or estrangement from them, although not necessarily through quarrels, but more as the result of circumstances. Trouble is occasioned through slander, false reports, forged letters or documents, unfriendly writings, delayed and misunderstood letters, and the subject may himself cause difficulty through these things. The effect on the nature is to make one sarcastic, bitter, impulsive and somewhat dissembling with periods of gloom, pessimism or exasperation, grave anxiety, worry, constant disturbance of the mind, errors or judgment, caused by fear, circumstances, lack of initiative, procrastination and continuos restriction of action. This lead the mind to meditate and endeavor to discover the reason for these undesirable manifestations, and from the attitude one may be prone to seek recourse in the study of Occult subjects and spiritual philosophy, and thus improve his responses to the aspect. If either planet be in or rule the Third or Ninth House it gives and inclination for science and Occult learning, which considerably improves the reaction to this aspect, but still there is liability to loss through failure, theft, fraud and deception; difficulty or loss in employment or thorough lack of employment, poor health often interfering; troubles through neighbors, servants, societies, associations, messengers, travelers, and by things ruled by the sign and house occupied. Difficulty through and with religion, religious or political people. Loss through speculation and games of chance. Suffers from indiscretion, dishonesty, deceit, treachery, broken contracts, desertion, misrepresentation and quarrels. Often the subject is directly or indirectly the cause of misfortune through hasty judgement, impulsive action, extravagance, dissipation or through carelessness, overconfidence, miscalculation, anger. Dangerous or difficult journeys, trouble in t foreign places and through legal affairs. Feverish complaints, blood and liver disorders; danger and loss through fires and accidents, and if Uranus is adverse, through lightning, electricity, floods or explosions.

Mars Contra-Parallel Saturn (Detriment)

The mind and senses act in conflict, causing discord, selfishness, quick temper, violence; rash, hasty, impulsive acts; deception, resentment, cruel, hard or revengeful feelings when opposed. Trouble with parts of the body denoted by the signs occupied by the afflicted planets. Feverish complaints, wounds, falls and accidents; danger of violence through enemies, reptiles, animals, riots, strikes, uprisings, revolutions, accident, war or state. Notoriety, reversals, criticism, opposition, enmity, scandal, discredit, obstacles and difficulty in occupation, danger of loss and failure in business. An unfortunate aspect for parents, denoting death, separation or disputes; bad for legacies; difficulties with compani3es, partnerships or in marriage. Liable to imprisonment. If either planet is well aspected and well located by sign, much of the above is mitigated, but notice the houses which they occupy, as they indicate trouble for the things ruled thereby.

Jupiter (Detriment) Parallel Saturn (Detriment)

This pairing is that of the two most opposite planets and can produce extreme grace, selflessness and genius; or extreme obsessions paranoia, and dark desires. This is the most complicated aspect to interpret; the native is sometimes enormously successful but is usually unable to handle the power the success brings. So, this aspect ends up making the native a Fallen Angel. Its influences have the strongest of spiritual overtones.

Uranus Parallel Pluto
