Sun Sesquiquadrate Saturn (Detriment)

Indicates derangement of the health, the nature of the illness threatened can be seen by the signs which the Sun and Saturn occupy. It is bad for business affairs, especially of the kind signified by the two planets. Obstacles, limitation, hindrance and delays, cause disappointment, sorrows and losses. The ambitions are thwarted, sometimes the native seems to be getting along splendidly, success seems close and sure, but suddenly inevitable conditions and reverses arise, resulting in downfall and loss. The native incurs opposition, enmity, jealousy and public disfavor. All of these things indicate a tendency to become unsympathetic, or careless of the feelings of others, selfish, pessimistic, skeptical, or disinterested in social and economic welfare. It indicates death of the father, disagreement or separation from him, enmity or disfavor of superiors, employers or those of high position; unfortunate marital affairs. In a woman's horoscope this aspect signifies a denial of marriage or delay. Also indicates death of the husband or marriage to a widower. These marriages are seldom-happy ones, the husband usually being domineering, exacting, selfish, or inclined to illness and misfortune. If Saturn is in a water sign, the parent is liable to be given to drink or other dissolute habits.

Mercury (Detriment, Fall) Opposition Mars

Good intellectual powers; the mind is acute, shrewd, clever and sharp. The disposition I s impulsive, forceful, quick-tempered, sarcastic, argumentative, resentful and impatient; the mind is fired with desires, but has not enough continuity, the aspect being separative rather than unifying. The subject possesses great mental activity and is therefore liable to brain troubles through over-work, excitement or lack of suitable opportunity for expression of his particular ability, which results in irritability and periods of weariness or exhaustion, and disorganization of the stomach and digestive organs. Apt to create enmity, opposition and disagreements through sharp, critical statements or impulsive actions. Likely to meet with difficulty through relatives, superiors, servants and neighbors. Losses through theft, risky enterprises, correspondence, contract, litigation, carelessness with facts, hasty conclusions and criticism. Danger through traveling, tools, machinery, instruments and electrical contrivances; also drugs, operation, wounds from insects, reptiles and small animals. This aspect indicates difficulties, obstacles and disorganization through things rule by the signs and houses occupied by Mars especially. Trouble through neuralgia, headaches, and accidents. The aspect is a worse form water sign, usually showing tendency to drink and other ruinous habits.

Mercury (Detriment, Fall) Sesquiquadrate Saturn (Detriment)

The subject has great ambitions and desires for activity, success and mastery in lines coming under the Third, Sixth and Tenth House affairs, but his efforts are attended with delay, disappointments, obstacles and limitation, and in some cases he meets with criticism and opposition, open or secret, and his efforts are frequently thwarted and hindered or his plans overthrown. Encounters difficulty in acquiring an education and in all matters pertaining to books and studies. The retentive or memorizing faculty needs developing even though memory of events is strong. The aspect signifies great sorrow through death of brethren for father, probably both, or their ill health, separation or estrangement from them, although not necessarily through quarrels, but more as the result of circumstances. Trouble is occasioned through slander, false reports, forged letters or documents, unfriendly writings, delayed and misunderstood letters, and the subject may himself cause difficulty through these things. The effect on the nature is to make one sarcastic, bitter, impulsive and somewhat dissembling with periods of gloom, pessimism or exasperation, grave anxiety, worry, constant disturbance of the mind, errors or judgment, caused by fear, circumstances, lack of initiative, procrastination and continuos restriction of action. This lead the mind to meditate and endeavor to discover the reason for these undesirable manifestations, and from the attitude one may be prone to seek recourse in the study of Occult subjects and spiritual philosophy, and thus improve his responses to the aspect. If either planet be in or rule the Third or Ninth House it gives and inclination for science and Occult learning, which considerably improves the reaction to this aspect, but still there is liability to loss through failure, theft, fraud and deception; difficulty or loss in employment or thorough lack of employment, poor health often interfering; troubles through neighbors, servants, societies, associations, messengers, travelers, and by things ruled by the sign and house occupied. This is a bad aspect for the teeth, causing decay; also causes slow or poor circulation or digestion, bowel affliction, weakness, obstruction and constipation. Venus Semisquare Chiron

** Turbulent Aspect ** This is a Super Aspect and the most significant Romance Aspect. Some interpretations: charismatic beauty, love of family and marriage, strong marriage and family orientation, a career involved with making money, love for the New Age and what is a part of the new Age, money from marriage and family, money from endeavors that are ruled by Chiron and what has to do with the public, and a charismatic amount of money. The native is almost always in love with being in love and therefore always needs to be in a love relationship, resulting and a tendency to fall in love too easily.

Mars Semisquare Saturn (Detriment)

The mind and senses act in conflict, causing discord, selfishness, quick temper, violence; rash, hasty, impulsive acts; deception, resentment, cruel, hard or revengeful feelings when opposed. Trouble with parts of the body denoted by the signs occupied by the afflicted planets. Feverish complaints, wounds, falls and accidents; danger of violence through enemies, reptiles, animals, riots, strikes, uprisings, revolutions, accident, war or state. Notoriety, reversals, criticism, opposition, enmity, scandal, discredit, obstacles and difficulty in occupation, danger of loss and failure in business. An unfortunate aspect for parents, denoting death, separation or disputes; bad for legacies; difficulties with compani3es, partnerships or in marriage. Liable to imprisonment. If either planet is well aspected and well located by sign, much of the above is mitigated, but notice the houses which they occupy, as they indicate trouble for the things ruled thereby.

Mars Quincunx Uranus

Massive amounts of energy; directs energy to fame; brings war to the world; aggressive; impulsive and impatient. This aspect signifies a great reservoir of physical energy and a special talent in Uranian endeavors and careers. In a man, this aspect is a Sexual Aspect, as well as often indicating a man who desires changes of sexual partners. Mars is the male sex planet, and the Uranian influence tends to cause Mars to fluctuate, thus changing the sexual attractions of the man. If the Personal Aspect is turbulent, the desire for a variation in sex partners is accentuated.

Sun Contra-Parallel Chiron

** Turbulent Aspect ** This is one of the most powerful aspects that is not a Super Aspect. It helps the native to be noteworthy and or charismatic. If the native also has a Super Aspect formed by Chiron, then he or she can have a hypnotic or mesmerizing influence on most of us. This is also a female Romance Aspect where the native (person born with the aspect), if female, has an unusually intense desire for marriage and children. Such women often marry and have children when they are very young.

Moon Contra-Parallel Venus

Emotionally changeable--especially where love relations are concerned; a tendency toward dilettantism--especially towards ill-advised amorous relations; threatens scandal; somewhat bad for financial pursuits, though rarely disastrously so, particularly where a good planetary aspect intervenes; feelings of awkwardness in romantic situations are common.

Mercury (Detriment, Fall) Contra-Parallel Chiron

** Turbulent Aspect ** It is the most powerful aspect in helping someone to be a charismatic speaker (Evita Person was born with this), writer, or singer. This aspect also promotes a New Age outlook and makes the native highly intelligent, adventuresome, and self-reliant.

Saturn (Detriment) Parallel Neptune

Like Saturn + Uranus, this pairing represents unhappiness with prevailing mores or accepted beliefs and the status quo, but here, there is the desire to change public views and ideas with the fervent wish to instill a particular set of his/her own values and doctrines, but always with the willingness to bring about change in a nonviolent fashion; ability to innovate the arts and create new art forms.

Saturn (Detriment) Parallel Pluto

Burning desire for monumental and enforced change; ability to overhaul and drastically change and dominate a profession, industry, field, or area; this pairing is different from the Saturn + Neptune paring because with this pairing, there is the strong willingness and desire to bring about change in any way deemed necessary and at any cost, including violence if there are also Saturn aspects to Mars in the subject's chart.

Neptune Parallel Pluto

Power from ideas, religion, the sex act (as opposed to lovemaking) and anything ruled by Neptune; the ability to inject religion or ideas into a power struggle; adept at seizing power through religion or ideas; big business from original ideas, talent artistry or other Neptunian symbolisms (it also means success form such activities because Pluto rules big business, and you cannot attain big business without success); for athletes, this is also an energy and coordination enhancer to the other pairing in an M/Q, especially if the other pairing includes Mars, Mercury, or Sun. Also obsessive or powerful and long lasting sexual desire lust and stamina.
