Sun Semisquare Venus (Detriment)

As Venus is never more than 48 degrees from the Sun, the "combust" and semi-square are the only adverse aspects Venus can from to Sol. Neither is a very important aspect of itself, but at times may make the native extravagant, overfond of pleasure and luxury, amorous and mutable in the affections. Some delay or misfortune in love affairs and in dealing with the opposite sex. Loss through speculation extravagance, or carelessness.

Sun Sesquiquadrate Jupiter

Threatens financial setbacks through miscalculation in investments, speculation, errors in business, litigation; imprudent, premature action, often based on bad advice; a good aspect of the Moon will help to moderate this, but misfortune tends to prevail, often due to a false sense of security or outright bad judgment; absent careful reasoning or forethought; bombastic; irritable; fond of extravagant display.

Sun Sextile Uranus

Attracted to fame; a public personality; an innovative person; original thinker; a thirst for freedom; interest in the occult and all things extraordinary; a person at ease and talented with whatever is ruled by Uranus, including astrology, mass media, entertainment; publicity; usually somewhat iconoclastic and cynical about the status quo; Uranus rules adaptability and change on a grand scale---and globalization; this adaptability if often accompanied by an unwillingness to die for any cause, and a weak sense of patriotism.

Sun Square Chiron

** Turbulent Aspect ** This is one of the most powerful aspects that is not a Super Aspect. It helps the native to be noteworthy and or charismatic. If the native also has a Super Aspect formed by Chiron, then he or she can have a hypnotic or mesmerizing influence on most of us. This is also a female Romance Aspect where the native (person born with the aspect), if female, has an unusually intense desire for marriage and children. Such women often marry and have children when they are very young.

Moon (Detriment) Square Mars (Detriment)

Inclined toward knee-jerk reactions; prone to conflict due to a lack of control of one's emotions. This is especially the case when the moon is in the tenth house; a turbulent home life; a tendency to say hurtful things in the heat of passion, only to regret them later; discussions of serious personal matters are best avoided until moments of intense emotion have passed.

Moon (Detriment) Trine Saturn

This signifies a determined, strong-willed person with enormous drive. It is the sign of the bulldozer who will run over anyone is sight to meet an objective, but who is often successful because of this drive and determination. Generally unorthodox, the native neither seeks nor accepts advice from others, and is happiest when being the boss in all relationships. This is the IMMOVABLE ASPECT, and the natives usually are the most self-willed and controlling persons in the zodiac. The upside is that they are very often genuinely faithful, are good providers, and are responsible to their family. (Note this aspect is the same as Sun/Saturn but more emotionally charged.)

Moon (Detriment) Semisquare Uranus

Unfortunate changes, journeys and removals. Impulsive, sarcastic, abrupt, peculiar, electric and independent; danger on or the near the water; trouble through the opposite sex, difficulties, annoyance and possibly separations; troubles through Occult affairs and unreliable friends. Not good for health, tending to upset the stomach and digestion, causing mental disturbance of different kinds, sudden or peculiar changes in feelings, emotions, likes and dislikes. Restless, active mind, ever desirous of new scenes, new working material and surroundings; cannot stand limitations. It usually produces extremes and reversals.

Moon (Detriment) Quincunx Neptune

Inclines to success in things ruled by Neptune and as indicated by the sign and house it occupies; good for boating, swimming, shipping, dealing in liquids, choice food stuffs, canned goods, delicacies and things calculated to please the tastes of the public. Strong inspirational and imaging faculty; mediumistic qualities; fond of investigating Spiritualism, psychicism and the mysterious in nature, or some form of the Occult. Would make a good psychometrist, having active emotions and impressionability. If Venus or Mercury is also in good aspect it shows inspiration for art, music, singing, writing, speaking or acting.

Mercury (Detriment) Square Saturn

The subject has great ambitions and desires for activity, success and mastery in lines coming under the Third, Sixth and Tenth House affairs, but his efforts are attended with delay, disappointments, obstacles and limitation, and in some cases he meets with criticism and opposition, open or secret, and his efforts are frequently thwarted and hindered or his plans overthrown. Encounters difficulty in acquiring an education and in all matters pertaining to books and studies. The retentive or memorizing faculty needs developing even though memory of events is strong. The aspect signifies great sorrow through death of brethren for father, probably both, or their ill health, separation or estrangement from them, although not necessarily through quarrels, but more as the result of circumstances. Trouble is occasioned through slander, false reports, forged letters or documents, unfriendly writings, delayed and misunderstood letters, and the subject may himself cause difficulty through these things. The effect on the nature is to make one sarcastic, bitter, impulsive and somewhat dissembling with periods of gloom, pessimism or exasperation, grave anxiety, worry, constant disturbance of the mind, errors or judgment, caused by fear, circumstances, lack of initiative, procrastination and continuos restriction of action. This lead the mind to meditate and endeavor to discover the reason for these undesirable manifestations, and from the attitude one may be prone to seek recourse in the study of Occult subjects and spiritual philosophy, and thus improve his responses to the aspect. If either planet be in or rule the Third or Ninth House it gives and inclination for science and Occult learning, which considerably improves the reaction to this aspect, but still there is liability to loss through failure, theft, fraud and deception; difficulty or loss in employment or thorough lack of employment, poor health often interfering; troubles through neighbors, servants, societies, associations, messengers, travelers, and by things ruled by the sign and house occupied. This is a bad aspect for the teeth, causing decay; also causes slow or poor circulation or digestion, bowel affliction, weakness, obstruction and constipation. Venus (Detriment) Square Jupiter

Strong desire for grace, refinement, talent, beauty and luxury, but forced to be content with these to an ordinary or limited extent and satisfied with best show or substitute possible. Unless other testimonies offset this, it is not a good aspect for the accumulation of money, as a great deal is spent for appearances in dress, ornaments, luxury; inclines to easy good nature and fondness for pleasure, producing lack off accurate business instinct, resulting in loss through carelessness, fraud, deception, desertion, separation, prosecution, speculation, and unsound investments or securities. ** Turbulent Aspect ** This is a Super Aspect and the most significant Romance Aspect. Some interpretations: charismatic beauty, love of family and marriage, strong marriage and family orientation, a career involved with making money, love for the New Age and what is a part of the new Age, money from marriage and family, money from endeavors that are ruled by Chiron and what has to do with the public, and a charismatic amount of money. The native is almost always in love with being in love and therefore always needs to be in a love relationship, resulting and a tendency to fall in love too easily.

Mars (Detriment) Semisextile Saturn

This pairing can mean control of war and is a pairing of someone who is a pacifist or is unwilling to be confrontational; but this can also be a pairing indicative of obsessive desires and sustained energy.

Mars (Detriment) Sesquiquadrate Uranus

Sometimes violent or revolutionary, seeking to throw off all bonds of limitation, restraint, custom and conventionality. An unfortunate aspect for affairs ruled by the signs and hoses occupied. Danger of imprisonment and liability to violence, accidents, wounds and trouble through firearms, explosions, lightning, fire, wrecks, machinery, vehicles of transportation and electrical devices. It denotes sudden and unfortunate events which upset prearranged affairs, reversal of plans and changes in objective.

Mars (Detriment) Sextile Neptune

It foretells a great destiny and career and can result in noteworthy success, ultimate intuitive genius, and success through charisma in anything ruled by Chiron. No matter how powerful and helpful one aspect is, though, there is no substitute for hard work, determination, and tenacity.

Saturn Semisextile Neptune

Like Saturn + Uranus, this pairing represents unhappiness with prevailing mores or accepted beliefs and the status quo, but here, there is the desire to change public views and ideas with the fervent wish to instill a particular set of his/her own values and doctrines, but always with the willingness to bring about change in a nonviolent fashion; ability to innovate the arts and create new art forms.

Indicates that the native is quick in wit, perceptive, ingenious, comprehensive, reasonable; has splendid mental abilities, ken and penetrating, productive, versatile, expressive, fluent and copious in speech or writing. Mercury (Detriment) Contra-Parallel Pluto

Snap judgments made; ideas are grasped quickly but the native shows impatience with others who do not think the same manner. Skepticism and cynicism may turn into fanaticism, and obsession. Mars (Detriment) Contra-Parallel Chiron

** Turbulent Aspect ** One of the Male Sexual Aspects, it creates the ultimate high energy level, generates more pure energy than any other aspect, and rates as a Super Sports Champion Aspect (a term from Astrology Really Works!). But the Chiron -Mars aspect does not help coordination in the way the Venus-Mars aspect does. The native needs aspects that help coordination in order to most beneficially harness the energy this aspect provides. If the aspect in not well used and controlled through moral teachings, there can be constant moral slippage toward excessive aggressiveness, and even belligerency.
