Sun Contra-Parallel Venus

As Venus is never more than 48 degrees from the Sun, the "combust" and semi-square are the only adverse aspects Venus can from to Sol. Neither is a very important aspect of itself, but at times may make the native extravagant, overfond of pleasure and luxury, amorous and mutable in the affections. Mercury Contra-Parallel Jupiter (Ruler)

Obstacles and difficulties arise regarding matters ruled by the houses they occupy, Mercury more particularly, through unfinished education or accomplishments. It shows liability to deceit or poor judgment leading to changes, journeys, unreliable ideas, wily thoughts, dissension, disagreements and sometimes legal troubles. Misfortune and difficulty through investments, speculation, contracts, agreements (especially verbal), writings, church affiliations, social affairs, foreign and financial matters. Liable to suffer from scandal, slander or false reports, and accidents in travel. The mind is active, keen, alert and impressionable, but not sufficiently steady or confident. Unfavorable changes, travels, and letters. It tends to weakness in the parts of the body ruled by the signs occupied by Mercury and Jupiter.
