Sun Semisquare Saturn (Detriment)

Indicates derangement of the health, the nature of the illness threatened can be seen by the signs which the Sun and Saturn occupy. It is bad for business affairs, especially of the kind signified by the two planets. Obstacles, limitation, hindrance and delays, cause disappointment, sorrows and losses. The ambitions are thwarted, sometimes the native seems to be getting along splendidly, success seems close and sure, but suddenly inevitable conditions and reverses arise, resulting in downfall and loss. The native incurs opposition, enmity, jealousy and public disfavor. All of these things indicate a tendency to become unsympathetic, or careless of the feelings of others, selfish, pessimistic, skeptical, or disinterested in social and economic welfare. It indicates death of the father, disagreement or separation from him, enmity or disfavor of superiors, employers or those of high position; unfortunate marital affairs. In a woman's horoscope this aspect signifies a denial of marriage or delay. Also indicates death of the husband or marriage to a widower. These marriages are seldom-happy ones, the husband usually being domineering, exacting, selfish, or inclined to illness and misfortune. If Saturn is in a water sign, the parent is liable to be given to drink or other dissolute habits.

Sun Trine Neptune

A person of strong intuition and fertile imagination. A strong inclination toward refined pleasures: fine arts, music, pleasure cruises; a visionary; an artistic and creative person such as a sculptor, or a poet; gifted with robust health and longevity; this longevity is paralleled in a relationship by a profound feeling of closeness, as if the two have shared an entire lifetime; physical endurance and stamina because the Sun rules the heart, and Neptune rules stamina; a quick-healer; Neptune is regenerative, a restorer of health, qualities of the water it symbolizes; a doctor, nutritionist, nurse, health practitioner.

Sun Sextile Pluto

A person of tremendous will-power; desire for power and a willingness to do what it takes to obtain it--even at the expense of ethics; a competitor; a person gifted with the skills to excel in things ruled by Pluto, including large-scale enterprises, politics; seldom a follower, single-minded in the pursuit of set goals; often self-centered, with a "me-first" attitude; second best is not an option; highly successful; tendency toward strong sexual attraction.

Moon Square Mars

Inclined toward knee-jerk reactions; prone to conflict due to a lack of control of one's emotions. This is especially the case when the moon is in the tenth house; a turbulent home life; a tendency to say hurtful things in the heat of passion, only to regret them later; discussions of serious personal matters are best avoided until moments of intense emotion have passed.

Moon Quincunx Jupiter

This is a Super Aspect and the Wisdom Aspect; the native is attracted to seeking the truth. When the aspect is an enhancement, the native usually finds truth in Judeo-Christian values. When the aspect is not an enhancement, the native is usually attracted to non-Judeo-Christian ideas. Generally, the native is highly responsible, faithful, and peace loving, but willing to fight and die for a cause. (Note this is the same interpretation as the Sun/Jupiter except with the moon the emotional side is amplified.)

Moon Semisextile Uranus

The native is active, firm, enterprising and scientific. Fond of friendship and the opposite sex. Success and gain through the occult, and through original, inventive and progressive people. The aspect tends to awaken the imaging faculties, quickens the though and intuition, leads the mind into original lines and gives interest in new methods, inventions, curiosities, etc.., giving mesmeric and psychic faculty; good for healing and telepathy. Benefit through business and novelties. A good aspect for an electric expert or worker. Inclination for and benefit through astrology. Advantageous changes and removals. Favors traveling and if either planet is in the Third or Ninth House, many journeys. If in the Fourth House, many changes of residence.

Moon Sesquiquadrate Neptune

Strong inspirational, psychic, emotional and imaging faculty; subtle feelings, quick impressions and eccentric, undefined or unexplainable acts. It attracts to peculiar people, exquisite tastes, luxuries, odd colors, odors and Bohemianism or unconventionality. Impulse is liable to predominate over reason, or through over enthusiasm the feelings may get the upper hand of judgment, leading to acts of indiscretion. Quick response to environmental influences. It affects the nervous or mental health through bodily disorder. In mutable signs it affects the brain and nervous system; in fixed signs, the glandular and secretory processes; in the cardinal signs, the circulatory and absorptive systems.

Moon Quincunx Chiron

This signifies a strong desire for marriage and children, someone who is highly intuitive and resourceful. It is a female Romance Aspect, and if the native is a woman, all she thinks about is her Prince Charming or meeting one. She feels completely unfulfilled without one in her life.

Mercury (Ruler) Semisextile Venus

Mercury (Ruler) Sesquiquadrate Jupiter

It shows liability to deceit or poor judgment leading to changes, journeys, unreliable ideas, wily thoughts, dissension, disagreements and sometimes legal troubles. Misfortune and difficulty through investments, speculation, contracts, agreements (especially verbal), writings, church affiliations, social affairs, foreign and financial matters. Liable to suffer from scandal, slander or false reports, and accidents in travel. The mind is active, keen, alert and impressionable, but not sufficiently steady or confident. Unfavorable changes, travels, and letters. It tends to weakness in the parts of the body ruled by the signs occupied by Mercury and Jupiter.

Mercury (Ruler) Semisquare Saturn (Detriment)

The subject has great ambitions and desires for activity, success and mastery in lines coming under the Third, Sixth and Tenth House affairs, but his efforts are attended with delay, disappointments, obstacles and limitation, and in some cases he meets with criticism and opposition, open or secret, and his efforts are frequently thwarted and hindered or his plans overthrown. Encounters difficulty in acquiring an education and in all matters pertaining to books and studies. The retentive or memorizing faculty needs developing even though memory of events is strong. The aspect signifies great sorrow through death of brethren for father, probably both, or their ill health, separation or estrangement from them, although not necessarily through quarrels, but more as the result of circumstances. Trouble is occasioned through slander, false reports, forged letters or documents, unfriendly writings, delayed and misunderstood letters, and the subject may himself cause difficulty through these things. The effect on the nature is to make one sarcastic, bitter, impulsive and somewhat dissembling with periods of gloom, pessimism or exasperation, grave anxiety, worry, constant disturbance of the mind, errors or judgment, caused by fear, circumstances, lack of initiative, procrastination and continuos restriction of action. This lead the mind to meditate and endeavor to discover the reason for these undesirable manifestations, and from the attitude one may be prone to seek recourse in the study of Occult subjects and spiritual philosophy, and thus improve his responses to the aspect. If either planet be in or rule the Third or Ninth House it gives and inclination for science and Occult learning, which considerably improves the reaction to this aspect, but still there is liability to loss through failure, theft, fraud and deception; difficulty or loss in employment or thorough lack of employment, poor health often interfering; troubles through neighbors, servants, societies, associations, messengers, travelers, and by things ruled by the sign and house occupied. Caution should be observed with diet and beverages. There may be danger form ptomaine poisoning through wrong food combinations or impure substances. Guard against loss and theft, misplaced confidence and secret organization and affairs. Beware of financial loss through schemes, trusts, cliques, or rackets.

Mars Sextile Jupiter

Attracts good luck; abundant energy; usually believes in God; fortunate and blessed; this pairing is a strong enhancer of other paring and planets.

Mars Sextile Uranus

Massive amounts of energy; directs energy to fame; brings war to the world; aggressive; impulsive and impatient. This aspect signifies a great reservoir of physical energy and a special talent in Uranian endeavors and careers. In a man, this aspect is a Sexual Aspect, as well as often indicating a man who desires changes of sexual partners. Mars is the male sex planet, and the Uranian influence tends to cause Mars to fluctuate, thus changing the sexual attractions of the man. If the Personal Aspect is turbulent, the desire for a variation in sex partners is accentuated.

Mars Semisquare Neptune

If Mars or Neptune is well aspected or otherwise dignified, these testimonies are considerably modified.

Mars Sextile Chiron

One of the Male Sexual Aspects, it creates the ultimate high energy level, generates more pure energy than any other aspect, and rates as a Super Sports Champion Aspect (a term from Astrology Really Works!). But the Chiron -Mars aspect does not help coordination in the way the Venus-Mars aspect does. The native needs aspects that help coordination in order to most beneficially harness the energy this aspect provides. If the aspect in not well used and controlled through moral teachings, there can be constant moral slippage toward excessive aggressiveness, and even belligerency.

Jupiter Conjunction Chiron

This is one of the most powerful of all aspects, as this Super Aspect provides the native with a fabulous public image and a commanding presence, which instills confidence and wins trust. It foretells a great destiny and career and can result in noteworthy success, ultimate intuitive genius, and success through charisma in anything ruled by Chiron. No matter how powerful and helpful one aspect is, though, there is no substitute for hard work, determination, and tenacity.

Jupiter Semisquare Lilith

Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Priapus

Saturn (Detriment) Semisextile North Node

Saturn (Detriment) Quincunx South Node

Uranus Trine Chiron

This is a very powerful and helpful aspect, but unfortunately, it occurs too rarely (about every five years).
